Artwork Description

Voices yet to be Sung

135.0 x 90.0 cm

Sand & Acrylic Inspired by a photograph by Gunther Deichmann, this piece reflects on the future carried within the faces of Australia’s First Nations children. As a South African–born artist, I approached it with deep respect and curiosity, drawn to the beauty, spirit, and resilience that live in their eyes. It’s about connection, protection, and the belief that from every history, a new strength emerges.
