Tea Time with Rowan

24.0 x 36.0 inches

With this piece, I chose to sketch the imagery and fill it in with patterns. I took a photo of four year old Rowan as he sipped his tea (because Harry Potter drinks tea) The background pattern is painted in acrylics as are Rowan's features. I also utilized a lace pattern as a stamp to create the lace effect on the placemat. This was purely a labor of love reflecting the sweet innocence of a child
