"Orate Pro Nobis" Latin it means PRAY FOR US This sacred art is a textured and symbolic exploration of faith, sacrifice, and hidden truths. At its center, a purple-toned girl marked with 33 distinct dots teaches us how to make the sign of the cross a guide for those who may not know how. It shows that we need to make sure our children learn how to pray from a very young age. After all, our children are our future. Most importantly the 33 dots represent the age of Jesus Christ at His death, grounding the work in deep spiritual reflection. I purposely camouflaged the cross, hidden above within the composition, to invite viewers to look beyond the obvious and search for meaning beneath the surface. At night, a shadow contouring glitter subtly emerges visible only in darkness symbolizing how divine presence often reveals itself more clearly during life’s most challenging moments. All the elements in my artwork are interconnected through this hidden cross.
