Accordingly to the Classic of Mountains and Seas, there was a strange creature called Huan, which lived in Yiwang Mountain. It looked like a wild cat, with only one eye but three tails, and its voice was as loud as hundreds of beasts roaring together. It was kept to ward off evil, and its flesh cured jaundice. The painter ingeniously blends the western pop art technique into the content of Chinese traditional culture to create a unique trendy artwork.
