Artwork Description
The law of fish
36.0 x 30.0 inches
This artwork attempts to unveil a terrifying facet of contemporary society. By employing the metaphor of aquatic life, it illustrates the exploitation of humans by humans. It is not just big fish swallowing small fish; rather, they are devouring humanity itself—a reflection of the cruel reality of the modern world. The skeletal human figures serve as symbols of the inner hollowness and moral decay of our civilization. The dominance of the color red transforms the entire canvas into a memorial of a blood-stained history and relentless violence. Through this work, I want to pose a question to the viewer: "Are we truly civilized, or are we merely more sophisticated predators?"
