Alchemy Owl – Ra Bakamuna

Since ancient times, the owl has been a well-known symbol of wisdom, sagacity, night and the unveiling of secrets. This Alchemy Owl painting is my interpretation of medieval alchemical illustrations featuring owls. Created by hand, the painting was designed to be the cover of the Alchemy e-book. Multiple layers of polymer clay were used to give the work a voluminous and embossed look.
