In this work, I explore transformation as a fundamental state of existence. The portrait does not represent a fixed identity, but an ongoing process shaped by time — a force that erodes, reshapes, and continuously redefines the human form. The face becomes a landscape of memory, where anatomical features merge with organic structures and natural elements, suggesting an intimate connection between the individual and the surrounding universe. The eye serves as the compositional anchor and a symbol of consciousness — a silent witness to both inner and outer transformations. Through the interplay of fluid forms and layered textures, I sought to visualize time as an invisible yet ever-present presence. The contrast between cool tonalities and warm accents emphasizes the tension between permanence and change, introspection and becoming. With The Metamorphosis of Time, I offer a personal reflection on the fragility of identity and the quiet beauty that emerges when transformation is embraced as an essential part of human evolution.
