Rendered in rich earth tones, this piece draws inspiration from the majestic landscapes of Sedona, Garden of the Gods, and the Armenian highlands. Built from wood shavings, plaster of Paris, and gel medium, its textures are layered with crushed eggshells and hand-ground natural pigments in linseed oil, then brought to life with oil paint enriched with lead white replacement. The work embodies the constant cycle of transformation — where collapse gives rise to formation, and what falls away becomes the foundation for renewal. Each layer reflects both the rugged beauty of nature and the evolution of our inner landscapes.
