Moment of Silence

My latest pencil drawing (A4) is a study of closeness and contrast. Amidst a deep, graphite-filled background, a little girl and a piglet meet on old wooden floorboards. It was important to me to create a protective atmosphere through the play of shadows, focusing entirely on the loving touch and the silent bond. A moment of security that needs no words.
