Birth of Sihina Loka (Dream Realm)

'Sihina Loka' literally means 'dream world' in Sinhala. The painting's plot was inspired by Sri Lankan myths and legends, but mostly by my imagination. It depicts the Celestial City of the Rakshasas and their battle with the dragon at the dawn of Sihina Loka's creation. This relief painting was handcrafted using multiple layers of polymer clay on foam board, which was then baked to increase its strength and durability. It was finished with a passe-partout and wooden frame.
