A man sits quietly, a walking stick in hand, as Jesus kneels before him, gently touching his eyes. In that sacred moment, light breaks through the darkness — a powerful symbol of spiritual awakening. The Awakening of Sight was inspired by my personal journey of rediscovering faith. There was a time I couldn’t see the beauty of walking closely with God, blinded by life’s distractions and struggles. This painting reflects that transformation — from blindness to clarity, from doubt to peace. Through the compassionate hand of Christ, vision is restored not only to the eyes but to the soul. It reminds us that true sight comes through faith, and that following Jesus’ teachings can illuminate the path even in the darkest times.
