Ubuntu is Unity in connectedness. It is an African philosophy, It concerns the entire community and everything around you. As a group, the highest goal is to seek consensus and harmony. It is about humanity and connectedness. Nelson Mandela called it the most important goal in his life. Central to this way of life is the idea that you only become human by recognizing the humanity of others.
